This is an incredible way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of movement. Toddlers learn spatial awareness, basic movement skills, directions and more! We work with fun props and manipulative and each class has a specific theme with weekly class objectives. This class is a great experience for your child, as she learns to interact socially with other people that are close to her age and size! Introduce your child to the many aspects of physical fitness in a fun, creative way!
An overall physical fitness experience for boys and girls ages 3-5 (not yet enrolled in kindergarten). Students have the opportunities to experience many types of movement in a high energy, safety oriented class. In addition to basic tumbling skill development, class content also includes instruction in movement education and children are introduced to skills that develop co-ordination, strength and agility. Class also includes hand/eye and foot/eye coordination development. a great opportunity to introduce physical fitness, movement and basic gymnastics skills to your child in a positive, fun way!
A great class for your child to learn basic gymnastics and tumbling moves. In addition to learning basic skills, instructors emphasize correct technique, development of strength, flexibility and coordination. One of the primary class goals for each student is to develop each child's self confidence as new skills are mastered. Students learn to perform new skills confidently, with correct technique, form and in a safe manner. This class is an effective, fun way to help your child improve his/her physical ability and build self-esteem! For boys and girls ages 5-14. Classes are divided into age and ability groups.
When your child has mastered basic tumbling skills and concepts and has developed the ability to focus in class and work independently, he/she is promoted to the Intermediate Class. This class builds on the basic foundation that was learned in Beginner Class and the primary goal of the class is to learn more advanced tumbling skills such as back handspring, aerial cartwheels and learn the basics of power tumbling. Each class is physically challenging so that students are gaining strength. Skills are taught in a positive manner and a strong emphasis continues to be placed on the development of self-confidence as the student learns new skills. Instructor's permission required.
A class for students who have already mastered basic skills. Class includes instruction in advanced tumbling series, aerial cartwheels, standing back tucks, etc. A great class for former competitive gymnasts and/or competitive cheerleaders who already know how to tumble and desire to work on advanced skills. Instructor's permission required.
