United Dance & Cheer is simply wonderful! I have seen a complete turn-around in my daugher's attitude and desire towards dance since joining United. Most recently, McKayla informed me of a "new goal" she set for herself... She's going to try out for the 7th grade Cheerleading Squad. This comes as a HUGE & WONDERFUL SURPRISE to those that know her best. Since making the All Star Team at United, McKayla's confidence level has improved. I love the fact that she is thinking about the future and setting goals for herself. McKalya absolutely loves United, the Instructors, and all of her fellow teammates. She is full of United Pride, and it shows!

But most of all I noticed Miss Angie loved teaching. She never became frusterated or upset w/little ones. Miss Angie gave them a firm foundation in dance. And by the end of our first year we loved Miss Angie. But what I noticed most was she loved us. No I mean she truly loves our girls. Once, Miss Angie had the opportunity to expand she sought God's wisdom in every detail. With each person hired and each studio built Miss Angie's love of dance and our girls is felt. I think you will be hard pressed to find any studio that loves their girls more than United.

My daughter loves to dance and started dancing when she was only two. My husband and I loved that she enjoyed it so much, but we were concerned about the music and moves the older girls were learning. How would we handle that as she grew older? It didn't seem fair to keep her from participating in something she loved so much, but how could we approve of it when it went against everything we were trying to teach her? We are so thankful to have found United! Our daughter LOVES it and we no longer worry about what she will be learning. I believe it's one of the best lessons she has learned. She can continue to do what she loves without sacrificing her beliefs and her self-respect ... and do it well! United's success and trophy collection is growing every day!

Thank God for you and for United. I have been a dancer my entire life and when my daughter gotold enough to start classes, I immediately enrolled her in another studio here in Arlington. After just one year there and an awful experience, I pulled her out and vowed to not enroll her until I found a place where my heart felt she should be. I got recommendations from friends and neighbors on other places to try, but when I inquired at those places, none of them felt right. I was ready to give up and let her sit out for a year or two until one day when I drove past United. I called and then visited, and my heart said yes! :). From the moment we entered the studio, the entire staff was warm, inviting, welcoming and put her completely at ease. She felt right at home and wanted to start dancing immediately. Gone was the apprehension and fear of dance class she felt as a result of the previous studio she attended. My daughter loves her dance and cheer classes, and she has so much fun in them. But while she’s having fun she’s also learning. She comes home and practices her dances and cheers without meeven encouraging her to do so. She talks about how much she loves all her teachers and she gets so excited to go to class. I love that you have provided the girls with such awesome and unique performance opportunities. I can see the self-esteem and confidence building each time she gets on the stage or in front of the crowd to dance and cheer. Thank you for fostering that love of performing in her. I know it will to help to make her a more self-assured and confident girl and woman. As a parent, I love how organized you and every aspect of the studio is. I don’t have to wonder what time or where I need to show up for events. I never have to question how much something will cost or whether there will be unexpected things that pop up. You keep all the parents so wel informed by email, the website and personal one-on-one interaction. I always know exactly what’s going on and I appreciate that you are always willing to sit down and talk to us no matter how busy things may be for you. Your personal attention to each child’s experience is invaluable. It means so much to me as a parent to know that you are aware of exactly what’s going on with each child, in each class and in every situation. Because my daughter has severe allergies, I am constantly worried about her eating something that could cause a life-threatening reaction. At her previous dance studio she was actually given dangerous foods by the teachers because they forgot about her allergies. But you have made sure that everyone who is ever in charge of her knows her condition and prevents her from eating anything that could be dangerous. That speaks volumes about your level of care and involvement in this studio. When I see other dancers and cheerleaders from other studios, it reminds me of how thankful Ishould be for United. The fact that you are sure to keep their costumes modest, their music acceptable and their dances appropriate means so much to me. It’s good to know that while we’re dealing with inappropriate images of girls in entertainment and the media, we don’t have to deal with it in their dance classes at United. Thank you Angie and to the entire United staff for restoring this lifelong dancer’s faith in dance studios. I love United. We are here to stay!
